Bass is in mint condition with no dents, dings, scratches, or signs of wear. I replaced the strap buttons with Dunlop Dual Design, originals are included. It is currently strung with DR Legend flats. Comes with the original G&L hardshell case, spec sheet, certificate of authenticity, hang tags, keys, and allen wrench.

I’m trying to figure out what the difference is between this and a Kiloton outside of the pickup placement. This one seems more versatile.

Outside of the pickup placement, the main difference is the Kiloton has only a volume and tone knob, and 3-way selector that does series/parallel/split. L-1000 has volume, passive bass and passive treble tone knobs and it’s 3-way switch does parallel/split/OMG.

Having both, I can say the L-1000 has more tone options available but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s more versatile, just different.

I don't think a P Bass variant is a good description. In single coil mode, you can get somewhat close to a traditional P but that MFD is its own thing.
