I'm cautiously optimistic we MAY be able to get this accomplished this year... but not holding my breath

Nothing scheduled- I’ll reach out to Jake Serek tomorrow and see if he’d still want to host and get an idea of a timeframe.Has anything been scheduled yet or we still waiting to see how the mask mandates, etc goes?

Duke:
can you tell us what page in the Wisco-bassists page the GTG is discussed?
thank you
Looking at early May 2022 in Green Bay. I have lined up a great venue with 4 or 5 jam rooms (some with drum kits and amps). We could have pizzas delivered or head out to one of the many small eateries in the neighborhood. We can supply our own drinks to help make things easier.
Also, the main facility is where Jasper basses and guitars are manufactured. We can tour that aspect as well (see Justin Johnson’s YT demo of a Jasper guitar). The location is The Luther’s Workshop, Green Bay. A tech will be on the premise if we need anything tweaked, fixed, etc. The jam rooms are next door at the Red House. They also have a fully-equipped blog room if anyone is so inclined to make a blog. And a temperature controlled acoustic room full of acoustic inventory (a Taylor dealer). We may collect a $10 donation to cover jam room rent.
Mull this opportunity over for a week or two. For the more adventurous, Green Bay has one of the country’s most prestigious auto museums in the country. And of course the Green and Gold guys have tours of Lambeau.
Comments and/or suggestions?
Thanks! I emailed Jake on the train in this morning, so we'll see what he says. That is another great option. The only thing is while I love Lakland (and have been there many time to see Carl Pedigo), parking does suck around there, so that may be a hassle (unless nothing moved into the back unit where the forklift training school wasIf not Serek, I could potentially reach out to John from Lakland and see if they would be interested to host it. Just throwing it out there, @Fred312b
Get-To-Gether (get together)What's a GTG?
I live in Uptown and may be interested; not sure what these get-together's consist of but if anybody ever wanted to jam on a Barefaced Big Twin this could be your chance :}
