210 Question

So I want to buy a 4 ohm 210 cabinet for smaller gigs and whatnot. However, I don't know if I would need sealed or ported cab for the best sound. I play in a punk/rock/alt band and I would be using the GK 400rb amp. I like a lot of attack in my sound and I am not too worried about low end but would like a little.

I found a couple 210 cabs, used on GC.com but some are ported and others are sealed. What would you suggest for a stand alone 4 ohm 210 cab, sealed or ported?

I just picked this up last week at Bass Central.

I tried it out in the store with a Mesa D-800+.

Sounded fine. It has a tweeter and a couple of ports in the back. But it’s only for rehearsal and small gigs. It is rated at 400 Watts so I’m not worried about over powering it.

It checked all my boxes. Power handling, not to heavy and it looks cool enough.
