The guy on craigslist says its 200 watts but everything like it I've seen is usually less than 100. Did they make ones (like the one on pintrest) in a 200 watt version or is his info incorrect. And also thanks for all the info guys.

Also, if wanted to try and find period correct cts 15s how much would a set go for and would it be worth the investment and add some value to the amp?
Yep, that's what the schematic says, 100 watts into 4 ohms. With four 2N3055 transistors, it shouldn't even break a sweat doing that.
The 2N3055 transistor is assembled into what is known as a TO-3 package, and may have a mica insulator between it, and the heat sink, or there may have been a thermal conductive material, (heat sink compound, or Insulgrease) spread on the bottom of the transistor, before it is screwed to the heat sink.
I have found that heat sink compound can deteriorate over time.
It might be worth inspecting the condition of the heat sink compound, (if used), to ensure that it has not dried out.
If you can separate the transistors from the heat sink without unsoldering them from a circuit board, you could easily check the condition of the compound.
I would have some heat sink compound on hand before doing this, and renew it before running the amp at high output power levels.

The amp in the middle link was mine - and the photo is from my studio.
I have owned a couple of these. I like the cabs - but I don't like the head so much. They are a bit problematic. I personnally would rather have modern Eminence speakers in there then the CTS's as it would be more gig worthy (and why have a 2x15 if your not taking it out of the house
The CTS 15's can be found on Ebay for the same or less then a new Eminence Beta - so I would not worry about the value.
Both of mine sold for around $600.00 - so for $250 - go for it. Hopefully the "Electroeluminesant" panel still lights up!
Yep - I have one also. I haven't had any problems with mine, and it's something you don't see everyday. One of the cool things about these is the blue light up "electroluminescent " panel that makes it easy to see on a dark stage. However, it's not uncommon for that to not work on a lot of these. Mine has the original CTS speakers, but I also have a fw other cabs with Peavey, Eminence, and some no name speakers- and all of them sound good in these old Ampegs.
