Hello, I'm new to this forum and just looking for some advice regarding my bass rig setup. Currently I'm playing through a Sovtek Mig 100B into a Peavey Black Widow 2x15. Recently I decided I want to add either a 2x10 or 2x12 to tighten the sound up a bit. What are some noticeable differences between 2x10s and 2x12s and what do you think is better in this situation and why? Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially if you can recommend or point me in the right direction of a specific cabinet. I'd really like to know of any 2x10s/2x12s that have two inputs and can be ran in series because I want to run at 8 ohms total in series because my amp doesn't have parallel outputs, only 16, 8, and 4. If you want to run them in series:
Assuming your 2x15 is 4 ohms, then get any 4 ohm 2x10 or 2x12 and use a series cable to chain from the 2x15's out to the 2x10/2x12's in. No biggie.
That said, I think you're wasting your time and would be better off with a single large format cabinet with a 100w tube head.

Either get another Peavey 2x15... or get a 8x10.
You are really holding your 100w Tube head back with a 2x10.
However, I use a Avatar 2x10 with my 100w Superbass... and it works fine Sunday morning.
But it doesnt get much METULLL use.
Tube heads do their best with big cabinets with lots of speakers.. leave the 2x10's for the little micro amps.
