I HAD the GB 2 x 12 rig but now have only the 212T neox. It's so light that it was easier to deal with than two cabs but I am interested in those cabs by Duke...where ?

Due to restrictions as per the TB commercial users policy, I can only generalize and tell you about the stack pictured, as they are mine, built by me, and not currently available. In the near future, these cabs will become available. Chef has graciously agreed to review a stack when available. He will receive the first stack. I can only assume that his review will be right here on TB for all to see. After that, all pricing and ordering information will be directed to Duke, probably through his Audio Kinesis site. I only build.

OK, the history. Two years ago, I contacted Duke concerning an unrelated matter. I had had a heart attack and could no longer carry heavy gear. He came up with a design for an ultralight 2-112 modular system and gave me the specs. I built. However, he and I lost touch and I completed the stack using ready made crossovers, and selected a compression driver on my own. Still, the results were excellent. So much so that I sold everything else I owned, including my Aguilar GS212, and GB NeoX212T. After all, they were just collecting dust.

Anyway, the time will come when this stack will become available, and hopefully Chef will post a review right here on TB. For now, I am the proud owner of the only stack in existence. They are not my "go to" cabs, they are my ONLY cabs.

If I have violated any of the commercial users policy in this post, moderators, please let me know. I have tried to tread lightly.

I don't know if this is a violation or not, but I believe that I can offer more details through a PM. If this is not allowed, moderators, please let me know and I will delete my post.

Photos aren't great. Have not yet figured out how to modify my studio strobes for product photography. Maybe I will try a soft box, and snoot for fill. Oh well.....

That may help, but sometimes it's tough to photograph black boxes and reveal detail. Photoshop can help. Here's some quick processing:

BTW, seems to me that top nameplate would be better located out of the horn path. Otherwise, these look very good. Look forward to reading more about these.

Your editing is quite good. I guess I am old school, having studied photography with a manual camera and B+W film. I have gotten rid of my Mamiya 6X7 stuff and shoot digital, but still, don't use editing software.

From this day forward, I will consider you a friend. I hope you are well.

You're welcome. Again, it was just quick & dirty, since I was working with lo-res jpegs.

I guess I am old school, having studied photography with a manual camera and B+W film. I have gotten rid of my Mamiya 6X7 stuff and shoot digital, but still, don't use editing software.

I started out with a Honeywell Pentax SLR, and have done my own B&W processing (decades ago). Photoshop mimics darkroom techniques, though it exceeds what can be done in a darkroom. Sounds like you're a more serious photographer than I; you should look into it.

Man! Looking at a stack of these highly portable "Bottom Line" cabs has me rethinking the otherwise growing feeling that a good 410 would be the better, more tone-full solution, perhaps. Two 112's seem like a smarter idea now that I'm in my 50's; and really for anyone willing to accept that two modern one-twelves are surprisingly, sufficiently powerful for certainly most club situations. Here's the thing: I am almost always struck by the 3-dimensional quality and 'effortlessness' (?) of several 410's I've heard, and in relatively small enclosures considering all that they put out. Many 410 models will still fit into the back seat of my '95 Chrysler. Might be nice to have a cab on casters for a change too as I've been lugging around 2 custom 15's for a while. I know...caster kits and carts are easy enough to come by....my cabs just sound boxy and uneven to me despite each being loaded with the popular and pricey Kappalite 4015 non LF. What if better enclosures are all I need to get "better sound". Happy Thanksgiving to all. Nice form factor, and nice pics!
