3 Pickup wiring question

Wiring up a buddies 3 pickup SG and was wondering if I can retain the two volume two tone set up with a on/off/on switch that sends the middle pickup to the bridge vol/tone or the neck vol/tone depending on what they're trying to do? Would this cause issues of any kind?
Oh, each humbucker will already be coming out of on/on/on switches for series/parallel/split with the neck going into another on/on for phase/out of phase

I was with you at the beginning. Yes, an on/off/on switch will do that.

But the rest of your post, the bit about the series/parallel/split/phase switches? Complete overkill, and not nearly worth the trouble.

I guess im wondering if this will cause any cross play. As in will I be able to use just the middle and neck if sending the middle signal through the bridge vol/tone and vice versa?

Also, yes, very much overkill and can barley hear the difference on most of it. But if the holes are already dug for the 5 switches on this SG, I might as well use them

Well I still think it’s a bad idea. Better to have unused holes than an overly-complicated wiring harness.
