First off, I don't condone theft or any other criminal activity... but, I probably would've taken LeatherDaddy's comment about stealing the switch as a strange joke if he hadn't added the so called "Pre-emptive edit" to his post.

Next...

in a circuit with one volume control, you should use the side lug of the pot for "input" (left one on the picture) and middle lug for "output".

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the diagram does show the wiper of the volume pot connected as an output. Unless Tommorichards has edited his post (which there's no indication he has) then what is the issue with the diagram...? It is correct. Here's his post:

Its very easy to do. Ive put together a rough wiring diagram for you, but it should suffice.

Thats about it. If you have any questions, just say.

And finally, a lot of the other posts in this thread are disrespectful and violate the forum rules. I hope one of the moderators clean up this thread. It's turned into quite a shameful farce.

I did indeed edit it. Although i mentioned in following posts that i had altered it.

OK. I certainly must've overlooked your mentioning the edit. I was looking for indications on your original post that showed you had edited it. For example, you can see that I've edited this very post. (bottom left)
You must mean this post then...?

Its been fixed.

No problem, and sorry about the confusion ZolkoW. I still stand by everything else I said about this thread though.

Peace.

Because i host the image, all i did was to re-upload the fixed file, and overwrite the original that i linked to. So no actual editing of my original post took place. Hence the confusion. Apologies bout that g'vnor

Very slick. I figured it had to do with editing the image on the server. Obviously trichards (your own personal server?) must allow you to edit files and maintain the same URL.

Cheers!

and how much respect are we supposed to give to an admitted (boastful and self-justifying, even) shoplifter?

What exactly do you find disrespectful? What rules are being violated? What needs to be cleaned up? What has been a "shameful farce?"

Also, why are you in Comic Sans? Was this meant as a joke or something?

Consult the forum rules page and read some of the posts in this thread again. I'm not going to do it for you.

As for the fonts, I always use these fonts. My choice of fonts is personal preference, and doesn't require explanation to anybody.

These questions are also way off topic.

With that, I'm not answering any more questions from this thread.
