$300 budget bedroom jammer

If you want a fifteen, try and find a used SWR Workingman's 15. Sounds good. Simple. Made of iron. Can gig with it if you ever play out again.
There is one on Reverb for $250, and from the ad I expect you could get a better deal than that. But it is about five hours away from you and he won't ship.

Had a choice between the tc electronic and Carvin, had to go with the Carvin. It was a bit smaller (space was at a premium) but I liked the sound better.

I forgot to mention that I was using a 5 string into the Rumble 40 V3 and it handled the low B with no problem. I had the EQ flat, gain low, master high, and got a great full clean tone using just the three tone switches all on. Plenty of volumn for bed room without cranking it.
I'll add my voice here for the new Rumble line. I've got a 40 and it can get plenty loud for bedroom practice. I use it to jam with an acoustic guitar player/singer as well. Usually have volume very low when I do though. The tone is really great and they are crazy lightweight. The 100 has a 12" speaker and an effects loop but doesn't really increase that much in volume, at least to me.
