33" or 33.5" 5 or 6 string basses?

There are great suggestions here.

but a 35" will absoultely kill your hands if its well made, the stretch on the frets plus how stiff those strings end up being are a huge difference than a 34", I've owned many and wouldn't agree with anyone saying that the difference is minor.

Just saying, is a 34" out of the question?

When you say Brian, are you talking about Low End Jazz?

I don't want to speak for Tom, but since The Low End wasn't previously brought up I'm assuming he meant Brian Ristola, who I had mentioned.

I suppose not, but even my jazz bass is starting to feel uncomfortable in the lower register. I'm leaning towards a 33" scale bass.
