3D IEM?!

I just watched a video from Klang Technologies explaining 3D In Ear Monitoring. This seems to be what everyone wants IEM's to be. I haven't looked into cost yet, but wow, what a great concept. I hope the link works, otherwise I'll need to try and post another. This clip was around 8 minutes, but very interesting.

I figured it would be pretty pricy. Those Germans are pretty smart. I doubt we could spend that at this point, but wow, what a great thing. I'm curious as to the future development of digital boards he talked about. It would be nice if there was a "software" version that you could use/install on your PreSonus StudioLive board.

If you don't need 8 outs, they have a smaller brother that does 4 + 1 for "only" $2400.....I soooo want this, but I hope the company does well and matures, and competitors enter the scene, and in 2-3 years we can get this for $1000 or less ha

Not quite as informative as the German thing but it's nice to see more options coming. I'd love a 3D IEM mix.
