Looks like EXP, expression would be my guess.

Hint: It's not an acronym, it's more of an abbreviation.
I was actually one of the people that asked for this functionality so I'm intrigued.
Wow! So I'm guessing that controller will switch between Expression and Auto filter even with an EXP pedal plugged in? Pretty much just sold me on a Wonderlove... now to unload my Enigma and Musket to help fund it 
I was interested in a Wonderlove 100% despite that issue. It will now be the ultimate synth envelope filter in both manual and auto settings.
I do sort of hope it's a footswitch, though. In the same manner that the Octabvre will have the extra switch to kill the direct signal.

Exactly. A bunch of people had requested this mod, but trying to hack another footswitch into the Wonderlove would be really messy and there's not really room anyway. I did think it was a good idea though, and over the weekend I had a lightbulb moment to make it an outboard box. This little box (if it works as planned) will go between your expression pedal and the Wonderlove and simply have a soft-touch stomp switch and a status LED. It will override the switching expression pedal jack and let you select between expression control and envelope control on the fly.
Awesome, I've been looking for that function for while. Any idea how big the enclosure for such a thing will be? Also, do you have any plans of using your new enclosures (eg. Octabvre) for a future Wonderlove update?
This. I know the Octabvre will have room for four large top knobs and two stomps, in the same footprint as the WL. If you could combine the WL internals, move the center stomp to the side, and incorporate this new EXP box into the two-switch Octabvre box, I'd simply have to move my Fromel Purple WL to get one.
That would be the ultimate. All the glory of the WL, all the strength and practicality of the new enclosure, and an incredibly versatile wah that has an effects loop? Done. Sign me up!

1590A box. I might eventually put the Wonderlove in a custom enclosure but that would be pretty far off as I have a million things to get to first.
Now you should know by now Spencer that you can't come out with a statement like that and not be pressed about what we can expect next!!! Come on! Spill!
I got my LBB last week, just in time for my gigs over the weekend. I put it straight on my board without having any time to actually try it out first. Trial by fire! My favorite way to test out gear...
During soundcheck I dialed in some bass boost, some treble boost, and a little volume boost. My goal was 2 fold:
1. To get my slap volume to be close to my standard finger/pick volume. Usually it drops off into nothingness so I don't really slap.
2. To use it as a bass boost for some of our more bass heavy songs. The reggae stuff and anything else that needs a kick of extra bass.
It works great, very musical sounding and not too overbearing on the bass boost. It was still nice and tight. I still need to tweak it a little but I was very happy. Previously I was using my onboard preamp to accomplish the same task. Both ways work just fine for me but I like pedals
I've also used an Xotic Bass Booster to do it which is essentially the same thing, just with an added gain control. It can still stay fairly clean but not as clean as the LBB. The LBB also has top jacks which wins in my book. I never cared before until I started trying to cram a whole bunch of stuff onto a PT Mini. It helps. A lot.
Now I've got a You're Doom, Proton, PWNZOR, and the LBB on my board. I'll be getting the Octave whenever it comes out. I've got an Enabler on the way. Now I just wish that I didn't sell my Frommel etched Wonderlove. Anybody want to sell one?

I was Hoping my LBB would be here for weekend gigging, but I guess living on the far east coast of Canada has one draw back...

I really can't speak to that as I don't know how other pedals are wired. This is designed to interact specifically with the Wonderlove and will be a special-order device for people who want it.
