Got #9. Pretty nice I gotta say. Not quite as harsh or "Marcausy scooped" as the Sadowsky. Reminds me more of the Alleva Coppolo pre that was in an LG5 I owned. Sure with things dimed it can get extreme, but even 50% or more boost on either band is just musical and my passive bass retains it's passive bass vibe only with some more bass and sparkle. Hearing what people have said about the Enabler, this seems to go in line with this box.

So, how clean is the clean boost if you put all the eq part to flat?

My initial thoughts (also posted in "Breeders"): The clean boost is very clean when flat and the EQ allows for a good deal of boost but the frequencies and Qs make it so even a good deal of boost to either or both bass and treble somehow remains subtle--a lot more bump and a good bit of sheen but still your tone, if that makes sense. Very cool to me and exactly what I was looking for, especially when playing my Precision (with TI flats).

Got my LBB today too, #23! Strangely enough my limited edition purple Proton is #23 also. :)

I've also got a Wonderlove and since I was messing about with my board anyway I rewired a few of my pedals into the WL's effects loop. Holy CRAP why didn't I do that before...

I really dig having both the WL and Proton on the board together. They're both awesome in their own right so it's hard to choose sometimes but I'm more than happy to have two great options to work with. :bassist:

Thanks for the compression advice. Unfortunately my LBB was delivered when I was at work today so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up. I think this was mentioned before, but does anyone know how this compares to the Creation Audio Funkulator? I've had my eye on that for a long time but never pulled the trigger since it's never really been absolutely necessary. Then of course Spencer comes along and puts out something seemingly similar and what can I say, I'm a 3leaf fan boy and will probably be giving him my money as long as he's making things.

With two foot switches I guess the Octabvre will be the same size as the Wonderlove?
Yup, well the prototype is the same size as the Wonderlove and the design on Spencer's computer looked like the prototype, so I would say definitely in his larger housing.
Does have a new housing like his smaller pedals, I love that design!!!
