3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

'BASS/CLEAN is a switchable crossover for the BASS control. In BASS mode, a crossover filters out high frequencies and the BASS knob introduces clean low frequency content into the output signal. CLEAN mode bypasses the crossover and turns the BASS knob into a clean volume control.'

I'd suggest not using footswitch covers at all, especially on pedals that require precision.

I thought about putting footswitch toppers on mine but decided against it as toppers can impart more lateral force on a switch (since they’re wider by design) if you don’t press the switch straight on (which is very likely to happen), it can damage the switch (or PCB depending on the design).

It's cool it's an international order. I'm happy for those of you outside USA/Canada. The Japanese alternative version makes sense with this Sakura run. It's nice to see 3 Leaf Audio building relationships with distributors, and the Japanese market seems to operate like this. Chase Bliss also has a special distribution relationship there.

Small surcharge to offset distribution: $377. Okay... but what about when the cost jumped from $299 to $333 because of the ink in Royal Proton run and then stayed there in all previous runs? Seems like that surcharge has been baked in for some time. Spencer can charge what he wants, but the logic doesn't always hold up over time. Surely the shipping cost should be increased, not the cost of the pedal. Something makes me think future releases will be at $377 as well lol

The re-envisioned logo as Mount Fuji is an elegant touch on the Japanese version. Spencer always nails the details.

Got it.... People are NOT gonna like it, US and Canada is not able to order.

Me, I dont care, I'm not american, and I'm all set on the Proton front.
I’m not sure how it came to be that Canada is not international. Were we invaded and assimilated into the USA while I wasn’t paying attention? And if so, why does it cost extra to buy American if we’re part of it now?

I’m so confused. :thumbsdown::wacky::smug:

Not proton related -

If you had to rate the doom 2 vs the darkglass duality, a green Russian reissue big muff (mine is modded to have a mids knob), wren & cuff, cog, and haunt, how would it fare?

Considering trying to get one in the next drop, but I'm pretty happy alternating between my alchemy audio modded green Russian and sometimes duality
