3Leaf Audio Octabvre MK III

I don’t know I’ve never used a sub octave pedal and expected to get good or clear tone?
I do it with my Octabvre MKII all the time. The Octabvre has a bit of a mid-focused voicing on its octave down processing that allows the sub-solo to be just as usable as having it blended with the dry. The two options will sit in a mix differently, but I've never had my Octabvre sub-solo tone sound unclear in a mix.

Say what?! :blackeye: How is an Octabvre MKIII selling for +$700 (shipped)? Yes, they are fantastic pedals, but...wow...just speechless. Reverb

I would only add, that it is being listed at $700, not selling at $700.

There was a Mk. II that started at $700 a few weeks back that has slowly dropped to $500 and will continue to do so, until it gets more reasonable.

Look at the pic I posted, again. Right underneath the price it says “listing sold.” I had it on my watch list and it disappeared sometime today…sold.

That MKII—it’s just a matter of time before that one is gone too, I guess (at this rate, anyways).

I contacted the seller and he confirmed that it sold for €580 shipped (that’s just under $700). Mamá mía! Someone really wanted that pedal badly. I hope they enjoy the heck out of it.

WUT. That is crazy. To the moon!

I hear you, bro! I certainly would not be comfortable spending that kind of dough on any pedal, but there are those who can and do. This is the first time I've ever witnessed a current pedal (and brand, I guess) that I like become a sought after commodity. I don't know when, if ever, prices will get back to what they were pre-pandemic, but I guess that would largely depend on how popular Spencer's stuff remains/becomes (can I blame guitarists for this?)--supply and demand, and all that.

I recently got my first 3Leaf pedal, MKII, on Reverb for a "decent" price. I wanted to end my octave search and with this one I don't see myself parting with it. And now within a month I own three 3Leaf pedals (one is on its way in the mail). Got the other two in trades, but dang I cannot imagine paying the prices I've seen lately on Reverb. Hopefully 3Leaf/Spencer will be back in full swing when he's able/ready because these pedals are amazing - I get it now, with all the hype around these pedals.

I was looking at my board the other day at band practice and it was the first time I thought about what would happen if it was stolen or something. Between the Broughton and 3Leaf pedals I have acquired over the last year or so I would have a really tough time replacing them. I think I just need to take a break from the classifieds.
