I ordered one of these a few weeks ago just before the price went up

Just bought an octabass, the size and the lack of a second LED put me off a bit... I don't know... I also just sold a gain pedal because I didn't use it enough... I don't know...

evaluate your situation: do you need a distortion pedal or a noizemaking pedal? if so, get the FatMan. it's both, and it does what it does very well.

Emailed Justin yesterday asking where it was and it should be coming in the next few days.
Also..He is now using new boxes that are shorter to match the hight of other pedals better and wider for more room between the foot switches to access the photocell. There are pics on www.3xfx.com
And I'll be one of the first to get one of these boxes.

I don't think the height would bother me. I have a pretty narrow foot anyway ;-D And since I normally wear those Vans slip-ons (since I can't tie my shoes), my feet are generally pretty low-profile.
Plus, I can't afford a wider pedal atm. ;-D

For those of you that own this unit, how do you feel about it now? Still in love? Have you been able to use it in a live setting, and if so, how does the oscilator work with the varying amounts of light on stage?
These boxes do look interesting. It is kinda like the ZVex Fuzz Probe methinks.
I like the probe's system better than the light sensor though. I'd kill to try either of these out.
