4-12 Bass Cabinets

Wish I could afford the Lemmy 4x12, it looks so bad ass. I use two custom built ones, but they're not quite deep enough for good bass. They work, but not as well as they should. Ideally I'd like to find two of the old Peavey TVX412s but they're scarce as hen's teeth. Been looking for several years and yet to find one for sale locally.

Brings the thunda!

I have 6 1810'2 and 4 1820's.
2 Ampeg 810's

Recently acquired 2 of what was listed as Peavey 412S Bass Enclosure.

They are the vintage chrome corner-vertical trim on the grill cloth. Great condition though.

The arent as deep as i had expected.
Are 412S's guitar or bass enclosures?

I plan to run them off the high side of a 100-150 crossover.

I rock one of these, Traynor TC412
Traynor Amps: Bass Extension Cabinets

and I love it.
I've gone through a couple 8x10s, combinations of 210, 410, 15s, and even an 8x8 before getting my hands on a 412 and I love the heck out of it.

I really like the mid-range on my 412, it's got lots of bark to it when over driven.

I'd still really like to get my hands on one of those old SWR 412 cubes though, those cabs were great.

I keep toying with the idea of building a matching "lightweight" 2x12 to stack on top of it....the idea of having a modular 6x12 that I can use for small gigs (2x12), and also stack for pure mayhem appeals to me. :bassist:

A 2x12 extension on that cab would be awesome! My buddy used to use his 4x12 with an 8x10 for his insanely loud Doom band and in his practice space I thought I was gonna puke from the bass. You couldn't hear a hard hitting drummer at all. A 6x12 would be sick especially with a Spector grinding it
