[4th Stringer]

I am going from a 4 string to a 7 string bass! Well, not exactly but in an impulsive wine-fueled moment I bid and won a 7 string acoustic on Ebay. What the H... do I do with it? Anyone like these things? It reminds me of a lute. I paid diddly for it which means it's cheap too - tho not sure as I don't have it yet. Don't tell my husband. Any comments appreciated.

7 string acoustic bass? Cool! I wonder how its tuned. Just mess around! Play chords and stuff. Jam around with some tracks or loops, or record a simple progression and solo on top of it. Lots of stuff you can do with an ERB!

... are you sure its not a 7 string acoustic guitar? My buddy had a sweet archtop 7 a few years back.
