Subway+ Bass DI-Preamp II

I understand. I have dealt with regulatory stuff going back to my days at GE Medical in the 1970s and elsewhere up to about twenty years ago when I retired.

Just wishfull thinking and brain-storming.

I dont like the coaxial connector shceme.

I am trying to divest myself of every device that is not powered by USB-C as a personnal goal in life.

I have an 18 volt supply for my Mesa DI/Preamp but I may try something like this USB-C to 9 volt adapter to get closer to a state of USB-C nirvana:

I have not tried it, but perhaps a person could use an adapter from USB-C to USB-A and get power for the Mesa preamp/di from the back of the WD with the device above.

I see some pedals that have internal batteries that are charged by way of USB-C. Sonicake (I think) does this. If you have only one, or two devices, having internal batteries in them would be something to think about as well.

I have no doubt that Andy took great care in designing the power supply section of the preamp/di.

It would easily power the Subway pre.
