4 string or 5 string?

so this may be a stupid question so if it is know im aware and try to not be a jackass. that being said.....im going to be purchasing a schecter stiletto custom bass but i cant decide on 4 or 5 string now i play lot of music so versitile sound is awesome but i just dont see myself using the 5th string all that often. (my weakness is my being extremly uncreative I.E. i cant make music just play it) please help!

4 string since you dont see yourself using the 5th string much. This will also give you a somewhat narrrower neck which can aid playability. 5string can be nice so long as you get one with very comfortable neck and have real use for the extra string wether its tuned low B, high C or high B. Otherwise its just more expensive both for strings and initial cost without reason imo.

I vote stick with the 4. I ran a 5 for a while and used the B string every now and then but couldn't get used to the neck. Now I have a dedicated 4 string strung BEAD, it's very rare that I venture onto the G anyway so I don't feel like I'm missing anything and I have a neck I can play on.
