5 basses I want right now

Lakland Jerry Scheff skyline lipstick

1963 Fender Precision

Fretless Carl Thompson

Squier Vintage Modified Telebass

Upright

It's only 3 and I don't want them right now, pretty happy with what I have. But the Ferner I'd grab if I could for sure.

A birth year Fender Jazz
A custom by Ferner out of Memphis
A custom by Maruszczyk

Man, I can only imagine what he charges for a neck through.
Same here and I'm not sure I want to know either.

And afraid I would drop the cash on something I have never played and then not like it.
Same here, but I've owned and played so many now I have a very good idea what I want and like, so less concerned,

I have some great basses but never had something made for me from scratch.
... so I'm going to make some of my own and see if I can get them prefect for me.

I’d love an Ernie Ball US Special version of my StingRay short scale with a flamed maple neck and board , emerald green sparkle finished alder body, gold hardware, white pickup , white pearl pickguard , string mutes, and passive/ active option.

Other than that, I’m good.

1. Skjold Firedrake or Skjold Griffin. Given how very close I came to grabbing one off his facebook feed this year (the blue/maple firedrake headless a couple months back) I think it's going to happen sooner rather than later. Premeditated impulse buying is a real thing.

I know exactly which blue maple headless axe you are referring to- I also saw that on his fb feed and it is very close to my dream instrument!

So this thread is just a wish list? Sure, I'll play!

- 1963 Fender Precision Bass
- 1999 Curbow XT-33 (6-string)
