5 String Bass Specs - Not sure if something like this exists

After digging around a little I was wondering if the following bass exists (other than in my imagination).

5 String
P/J pickups
35 inch scale (or longer)
20mm string spacing at the bridge (or at least 19mm)
Width at the nut 55mm (or at least more than 50mm)

In short, I really like my big roomy 4 string P/J bass. I'd like to move to a 5, but I've had issues with floppy B strings (hence the 35 inch or longer scale). I've also had issues with string spacing being too narrow for the left and right hands. I started off looking at Dingwalls - definitely an elegant solution, but the string spacing is pretty narrow.

I was thinking that the Mike Lull P/J5 might be close. Maybe also the Lakland Bob Glaub P/J5. Any other thoughts or recommendations are welcome. Thanks

if you were happy with double J or soapbars, your choices would be a lot bigger. I have a Yamaha TRB2 bolton that would fit most of those specs and you could pic one up second hand for not a lot of $$$

Well Spector offers those as options but I think a Lull would be perfect. I have yet to play a Lull I didn't like.

Lull spacing is a little narrower--18mm, I believe. I'd look into the Laklands. Laklands are a bit narrower at the nut vs. Sadowsky's, et al. 1.8 inches vs 1.87 for Sadowsky - that 0.07 is noticeable to me.

I prefer wider at the nut, too, but the OP is asking for something close to 2", and I don't know anyone except Curbow (RIP) who generally made necks that wide on their stock basses. I suspect that's something you could custom-order on either the Lakland or the Sadowsky or the Lull, but you'd have to ask to be sure.

I'd been thinking about the old Warmoth "Big 5" necks that had the 55mm nut, but I didn't realize the Gecko necks could be ordered with that as well. Cool! Maybe they'd be willing to route the bodies for P/J pickups, too.

I'd be sure they would, I'd swear they've done it before, and the Gecko 5/6ers have a 35" scale, seems like a score to me.

Nordstrand will make pickups to suit any string spacing, IIRC.

Warmoth makes a small(1-7/8 in), medium( 1-7/8 in) and wide(2-3/16 in) necked Gecko. That would be the ticket. Warwick can also make one to those specs on special order.

Exactly, they can do,
5 String
Rout for P/J's.
35" Scale.
"20mm string spacing at the bridge (or at least 19mm)", they'll do the 19"
"Width at the nut 55mm (or at least more than 50mm)" and as you asy, the 2-3/16" nut covers this.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I've sent some inquiries off to Lakland, Lull and Sadowsky. I'm also looking into the Warmoth option - something that is more or less stock would be best. Anyway, thanks again, I knew that the collective wisdom of the forum would prevail.

I would say go to Warmoth.com they make anything, they have the wide gecko bass bridge 19mm string spacing

Doesnt quite tick all the boxes, and in the scheme of things I would change the tuners to Hipshot Ultralites and mod the pickups and preamp to taste but the Squier Deluxe Active Jazz 5 has 19mm spacing with a 2 inch nut. For the $ they are seriously incredible. Stock they are a tad neck heavy and the pickups/pre were not my cup of tea but after I did the above mods they are incredible. Light, great fret work, ebonol fretboard feels and looks great. Ultralites took away the neck dive and I installed Bart pickups and NTMB 5.2 pre and it punches hard!

Dingwall SuperJ5s fit those specs pretty well. Their bridge string spacing is 19mm, 18mm on all other 5+ stringers.
