You can wire any bass to high C. Find a bass that fits your hand and do a setup. Worst case you need a new nut which would cost around $30 where I live.
Live in a guitar town with a lot of competition I suppose. I paid less than that locally for synthetic.1) I think this means he doesn't want 3/4" per string, which is like stupendously freakishly huge except Leo did it so we think its normal.
2) Where are you getting a new nut properly cut for $30?
3) Hosco nut files for sale PM me dor details
Forgetting the 7.25 fretboard, you should look at an old Carin Bunny Brunel BB75. Has 3/4 inch string spacing, very thin front to back with an asymetrical cut thats thinner on the high string side. By far the most comfortable 5 string neck for me.I tried to look for a post on this. Looking for a recommendation for a 5 string bass with a thin width neck to put a high c on ? I'm use to the 7.25 fender 4 string necks.
Oh yea Carvin ! I loved the catalog in the 80's, never could afford them back then.Forgetting the 7.25 fretboard, you should look at an old Carin Bunny Brunel BB75.
