Double Bass 5 String genres

I am curious about what sort of music five string double bass musicians most play. I understand that the five string is used more in Europe, is correct? Any links would be appreciated also. Thanks all.

Don't know. But I always loved this and I can't play it on my 4 string.

They are used to play the same music we play in the US, except they don't use C extensions.

I use the high-C five-string for jazz improvisation and singing, for shows with cello parts and no cellist, and for chording in just about any genre.
