5 string help

I would suggest an ibanez sr505, that's what I have. I bought it because it was under 600. It had a thin neck, beautiful finish, and can get a great range of sounds out of it to. But I tryed every 5 string in gutiar center that day and it was, and still is the best fit for me. You might have to do the same. To get the right bass for you.

Something used on the forums here. Always great deals on great equipment. It kind of sucks to not be able to play an instrument before you get it. But if it's too bad, you can always resell it for about the same price.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. I wrote everything down and I'll check everything out tomorrow when I take a trip over to sam ash. In the mean time, I was looking at this bass, which looks pretty promising. What do you all think? Invalid Link Removed

At $500 or less, the ones that come to mind for me are the Washburn Taurus T-25, Yamaha BB415, or coming soon the 425 (these are the two I have), or a Peavey Grind 5, Ibanez 505, I think there's a Schecter Diamond Stilletto fiver in that range... a few other choices. An MIM Fender Jazz V will be just above $500, you can probably find a used one in the classifieds. Shop around and see what you like.
