5 string musicman pickup

Hello, first post here!

I have a washburn RB2500 with stock PU's. I bought it in 2002 new, it has active PU's MusicMan style, but with no brand name.
The strings all sound different in volume, ie, the G sounds louder than the lower B (which sounds H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E), but it is not caused by PU inclination, because the E string is louder than the D, so you can see my problem: the whole electronics needs a retirement (the pots are also scratchy and the cable looks has the thickness of a hair).
Well, I would like to listen to some people's opinion about the PU I should buy to replace it.

humbucking (dual coil) 5 string Music Man®-type bass pickups

A 5 string version of the otherwise identical MM4.2, itself an accurate reproduction of an early pre-Ernie Ball® pickup. It features Alnico V magnets and heavy Formvar wire for an authentic punchy, growly, and inherently fat tone. The MM5.2 is a dual coil pickup that can be wired series, parallel, or single coil (split-able). Includes black cover (exposed pole pieces).

The industry never really adapted a standard for this style of pickup, and as a result we have at least 3 different spacing and cover combinations:

Soap-bar shape with no ears and narrow spacing. These have a rectangular cover and narrow spacing that will work on original MusicMan® five string basses.
Larger shape with ears and wide spacing. These will fit Lakland® and other basses with wider spacing.
Larger shape with ears and narrow spacing. These will fit OLP® and other basses with narrow spacing.

I'm late...

anyway, I had a washburn rb2500 on which I replaced the pickup with a bartolini single coil (not hte regular size but I managed too put it in). My bass still sound crap, very midrange tone no bass no treble. My bass is just a bass sounding thing. Wood seems to have no resonance at all.

Pickup sounded really good in a washburn x600 so it's not the pickup.

I hope your bass is better than mine.

Can someone help me out? Im trying to find a CERAMIC 2-coil MM pickup for 5 string that HAS the screw tabs / ears?
