5-string strings set on a 4-string short scale 30"

Asking for opinions and advice:

I play a 4-string short scale bass. Short scale notoriously 'wobble' the strings (buzz!) and they bend to easily (intonation!). I hated that from the beginning. But I love short scale.

I also like low action and tight strings. The regular 'heavy' gauge is not heavy enough for me. I decided to use a 5-string strings set on my 4-string: B tuned to E, E to A, etc. (120, 100, 80, 60).

I'm happy with the sound and the string tension I have now, it's close having rods for strings. However, I wonder if the tension doesn't bear to heavily on the neck. What do you think?

Any other issues I should be aware of with this setup? Maybe the strings will get damaged soon because of high tension?

If the neck is kept straight, I doubt you'll either damage it, nor the strings for that matter. However, since I imagine it's the 80 and the 60 that feel rod-ey, you can replace them with long scale strings with no ill effects (in my experience, even a 080 is flexible enough to be wound onto a tuning post untapered and not break).

What set is it exactly?
