5 string to 4 string headstock help

I'm currently trying to build a 5 string Stingray clone (not an exact clone, but the same general shape.) I've got a 4 string Stingray blueprint, but I'm having trouble modifying the headstock to 5 string specs. I realize that I'm going to have to move the tuners closer together and make the headstock wider, but how do I go about this so I don't screw up when I go to drill the holes? I know I'll have to take into consideration the string spacing at the nut and the width of the B string as well. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you plan on having a normal 5 string neck, I would suggest finding a 5 string headstock image scaled up to full size.

But also, if you don't want it to be exact, why don't you just find another string blueprint for the headstock and use that?

It helps to have the hardware in hand. Also draw the neck as you want it minus the headstock. Continue the strings stright over the nut about the length of the headstock then place your tuners on those lines to allow the strings to run straight. Then draw the headstock around that with the blueprings for the 4 as a guide for angles and curves. Wah-la!
