5 string Warmoth owners

Might try looking around in the Strings sub-forum.

I don't think the fact that your bass is a Warmoth is going to point you to any specific string. It certainly doesn't hurt to ask for suggestions, but strings usually come down to personal preference.

My current favorites are Fodera SS .045-.130, got 'em on a Modulus Genesis 5 (this is a J style bass) and a Modulus Q5. These have the most balanced tone from the B to the G string that I've found. I also like that they're not quite as bright as some SS strings. I'm not into the really zingy crispy high end thing.

I've also used and like DR Hi Beams and Fat Beams on various 5 strings, depends on the bass - Hi Beams are brighter, Fat Beams are a little less bright with a more pronounced mid and low mid presence.
