Looking to find other brands with very narrow string spacing similar to the G&L l2500.

    Looking for mid-range type of stuff..... $800 - $1500

    Any suggestions TB?

    Thanks!

    Hi

Try Ibanez, most of them are pretty narrow to me.

Most of the older warwicks 5-ers...you can find good used ones for $700-900.

This would be my suggestion too. The main gripe you hear about the SR505 is the tight string spacing. So if that's what you're looking for, go to your nearest GC, Sam Ash, MF and give one a try.

Er, why not the L2500? You should be able to get an MIA for less than 1500. I bought my 2500 FL MIA for 1100 on EvilBay from a G&L dealer....

+1 on Warwicks in general IMO. My 5 string Thumb's width is the same as my Yammy Attitude!

I think the SR5 has 17.5 MM string spacing, you may want to check to see what the Sterling 5 is? The Sterling 4 is 17.5 MM, the 5 may be a little tighter, but sure though.

  18. Some TL-5s have a shaller wheel type bridge.. you can stack them VERY thin.

CElton I'm a new note finder...

Sterling 5 and SR5 have the same spacing. 17.5mm.
