50th Anniversary T Bird

It's a little upsetting that Gibson doesn't offer a chrome option.

As a little experiment I listed my 2005 Gibson Thunderbird on Craigslist for $1,400. Many people wanted to buy it, but I can't imagine selling it. A few weeks later, I stripped the black plastic off the pups and replaced it with chrome. Then listed it on CL for $2,200. And got just as many interested buyers.

I'm sure if Gibson offered chrome hardware, they'd be selling a lot more...

I think so too. Chrome hardware is what got me to buy this Epiphone T-bird. Don't know why Gibson doesn't offer the real deal the same treatment, I'd buy one in a nanosecond.

Gibson's website pics don't make this bass look so good, a fellow on another forum shared some shots of his, honestly its quite nice, gold pups would have been cool. I do wish they had done a true re-issue tho.........
Chrome should be a hardware option!
