Several populated areas of Canada have the same Köppen classification (a multiaxis grading of climate) as Irkutsk in Russia. I leave you to guess how long the average GM or Dodge truck will last there

Yup, a guy I know is a taxi driver, he lives next to the beach and on a day with big surf any car sitting out the front of his house will be caked with salt spray. He keeps his taxis garaged, but they still sit in that environment a large amount of the time. However being taxis and him being meticulous, they are impeccably cared for.

His daughter drives one of the old taxis, its a Toyota Tarago from the early 2000's, and just under a year ago it ticked over the million kilometre mark (back to zero), still going strong.

It's now a brand new car with only about 25,000km's on the clock!
