This thing is a mammoth, but a really, really cool one!

I love when builders take a conventional design but put a modern twist on it. Looks awesome! How would you describe the feel of playing it?
As an upright player I really like a thick chunky neck and that is how my Oreo other Drakes are as well as my Kinal fretless. Otherwise it delivers absolutely everything you expect from a P bass. The upper range is a cannon, can really articulate when you go up high which is amazing it stands out instead of being buried.

At the end of the day all I could ask for was that it sounds great and plays well. I have never seen a traditional P or J in 6 string that got the proportions right where it didn’t look weird. Andrew completely nailed it.

Andrew changed my mind from Alder to basswood as I really wanted a light bass I could gig for 3 hours. He assured me the tone would not disappoint and he was spot on.

Andrew makes some standard models but really excels with one offs. So give him a call if your dream is slightly different than mine.
