Seriously, though, the 60th anniversary J-bass is really something special. I have the exact same firemist silver as yours. Incredible bass. It's my main bass, and even though unfortunately I change basses like some women change hairstyles, it is one bass I will not get rid of. There is just something about the pickups (I'm assuming) that sounds soooooooooo good. Slightly different from the typical j-bass. I record with it quite frequently with the neck pickup soloed. What a sound! I've had tons of compliments on that sound.

I have one and agree it’s a fantastic bass. And getting it with the hard case is better since later ones came with a gig bag.
