60's vs 70's spacing on a Jazz

My thought is as follows:

60’s spacing: Paul McCartney (certain songs), John Paul Jones, Flea
70’s spacing: Geddy Lee, Chris Squire (certain songs)

All great bass players with great tones

I actually have it the other way around…lol…

This is about a century late but someone tested the two pick-up spacings, the same bass brand. For me, the 70s seemed slightly brighter, not by much.
