I'm going to get a (VERY long-awaited) jazz bass soon, and my call is between the MIJ 62' Reissue or the American Standard one. I only tried the American one, since they don't have MIJ here in my country, but the MIJ is quite more affordable, and as someone with a Japanese Mustang I know their built quality is top-notch, even better than some American models I've tried.
What's the main difference between the 2?
