Double Bass 6th Cello Suite

I have only personally heard it at pitch, but I know for a fact that it is performed in other lower keys. But... I mean the 6th suite at pitch is pretty technically challenging on bass (perhaps an understatement)... I won't question your chops, but don't hurt yourself!

Well, by working on it I mean playing a few measures a day and hopefully being able to play it in the future :p. Playing it all in thumb position would be incredibly hard, maybe one day...

You could play it well at pitch, but many sections start to sound silly because they're so high up on the bass. When someone goes to hear a bass they don't expect to hear you play in the highest register so frequently, it would be like hearing a violinist play at the edge of their fingerboard for a good majority of the piece.

I think a transcription in G Major fits the bass well.
