70s Traynor 2x15 Wattage

If they are the original Marslands, then I wouldn't be comfortable running more than 50 watts into them. The cab typically was matched to a YBA1 (bassmaster) that only put out 45 watts...
I have a 2x15 Traynor cab from the 70's sitting in my basement. The only reason I still have it is because it matches the original head and I'd like to keep them as a pair.

Is it one of these (I thought maybe G2 stood for "Group 2")?

The 2x15 cab that matches the YBA-1 is called the YT15, is sealed, and has different cosmetics. It's also usually 16 ohms so two cabs could be used.

That's not the cab I thought you were referring to! I think you are looking in the range of around 150 watts for those two drivers. The cab I was thinking about is more likely a late 60's early 70's cab.

Ah! I am also looking at one other cab, which says 'Group One - 215' I believe on it with green trim. However, it has 400w EV Proline speakers put into it.
Also, basic question, if a 215 has two 400w 8 ohm speakers, does that make it a 400w 4 ohm cab or 800?

It seems these are an obscure line of amps; very hard to find any concrete info on them. I feel like Group One are guitar speakers though, because the only Group one amp I ever saw was a 212 cab with a head featuring reverb and tremolo controls (or something like that). My Google image searching also reveals the existence of a yellow Group 3, so the mystery deepens.
