80s Bass guitars

I always think of the Aria Pro II and whatever Ibanez Sting used to play.

ok, I joined an 80s band. I love the music of the 80s. The band has great Musicans and should be a lot of fun. I play a 2008 mia P bass. A very standerd bass my back up is a Jazz. What would be your ultimate 80s bass?

I was thinking a Musicman Stingray. What do you think?

I rather like the Peavey Rudy Sarzo (the first one). That said, I owned an Aria Pro II SB1000 so I'll say that also.

Hey, I'm in an 80's band as well. I went through a couple of instruments trying to find the right one for the job - both in performance and looks.

I started with a Jazz. Then I went with a Music Man StingRay. Both are totally appropriate.

But the one I have settled on is my Kubicki Ex-Factor. There are a few songs I need the lower notes for. And no one can deny the 80's appeal of a Kubicki!

Believe me, I would be thrilled to change song-appropriate basses every time. Rio on my Aria SB-1000? Of course! But so far the best all-arounder for me is the Kubicki.
