80's glam metal bassists?

Rachel Bolan of Skid Row was the only one I could think of right off the bat. Don't know much of the band's work, but just from Youth Gone Wild and 18 and Life, the man has nice tone, and throws in a couple tasty licks here and there, not to mention a sexy P-Bass in the 18 and life vid. I also remember the bassist from Bulletboys having nice tone too (name escapes me) Any thoughts on the matter?

It's really hard to tell who played what back in the day. They REALLY WERE SIGNING BANDS BASED ON "THE LOOK'.

I grew up listening to the stuff. I'd like to think the guys playing that I grew up listening to REALLY PLAYED THEIR LINES (In the studio). There's lots of horror stories about "ghost-playing" back then. Whatta shame.....

Sarzo played on Ozzy's Blizzard of Oz and Diary of a Madman, among other popular metal albums, Slip of the Tongue by Whitesnake and Metal Health by Quiet Riot. He's also played for Dio, Yngwie Malmsteen, Blue Oyster Cult at one time or another.

Sorry Chuck, Rudi most certainly did NOT Play on Blizzard and Diary. That was the great Bob Daisley. In fact the only Ozzy albums Rudy was on were Speak of the Devil and Tribute.

Metal Health I believe was mostly Rudy with Chuck Wright on bass.
Slip of the tongue was Rudy I believe but the Big 1987 Whitesnake album (here I go again, still of the night) was Neil Murray.

Not trying to bag on Rudy at all. He's a great player. Just trying to set the record straight.
