'82 Washburn SB-40 EQ Bass

how do I join the SB club?
Here ya go, lebowski11-----you have the official Washburn Club member # 144

Here is our main club thread and you can see our updated member list (you) at post 6383 right here:

The Official Washburn Club (Part 3)

And our database list thread, post 442 now has you on it under SB-40EQ:
What Washburn Bass Do You Own (Database)?

Come visit often and have fun with all the info. Using the SEARCH FUNCTION is quickest way to get an answer as we have covered so many things of Washburn, but always post anyway, and post to share all things Washie.

Well, now it's December 2025 and this thread still has value. There's really very little out there about these basses.

I'm on the search for a fretless B40. I have loved Bakithi's tone on Graceland from the moment I heard it. Been searching for that tone for years. Haven't been able to get it on any of my other fretlesses.
