Thanks man! Do you find that the pickups (especially the neck) are super hot? I have a '73 which supposedly has the same humbucker as the reissue (like yours) and the signal is just ridiculously hot.

Put chromes on my 65 this weekend and it just feels wrong. I used std (34") scale could that have been the problem? They were what I had around the house. String tension was WAY higher than I wanted anybody got a good recommendation for a lower tension? TI's, Pyramid?
