For me it's #3 and #5.

#3 is subtle but very usable tone for alot of stuff, if you need more than go to #5.

I found the rest too distorted in general, but OD/D often need context.

My feeling is once you get to a point where you can't tell it's a string instrument...then you might as well get a computer/keyboard and just go synth.

First, a big thank you to Mark for doing this!

I'll also preface my thoughts by saying that I'm one of those low-gain overdrive guys. I run my drives right on the line where they break up so if I play lighter I can get a good clean sound, but by digging in I can get just a little hair on my tone. That said...

Based solely on these clips and not getting to tweak knobs for myself, here are my favorites in order of preference: 5 10 8 3

I'm very interested to see which clip is really which pedal.

1. I like the overdrive sound, but I'd definitely want to turn the tone knob up some. A bit of "wet blanket" syndrome. ;)
2. Aggressive sound, but not enough definition.
3. Closer to how I use overdrive, clean tone with just a little hair. But I've already got this sound, so not quite what I'm currently looking for.
4. Way to much for my taste.
5. Dig this one quite a bit. Good low end, not too much top end bite.
6. same as #1 with tone adjusted?
7. Where did the low end go? lol Sounds like you're playing in a can. ;)
8. I really like the sound, but I'd turn down the gain a bit.
9. I had a really tough time with this one. Sounds a bit "white noise," but it also sounds like that may be because there's a rogue string ringing a bit (particularly starting at :08)? ;)
10. A little fuzzy for my taste, but I dig the huge sound. Another one I think I'd really dig if I could turn the gain down a bit.

5sg.

I'm going to take some guess at what's what.

I think 3 and 7 are the Darkglass.
I think 6 and 8 might be the FEA because I feel like I might hear clean blend.
For some reason I just feel like 1 is the Blueberry.
No idea for the others.

Edit: One more guess. For some reason I think 4 might be the Black Dragon. These are really tough to guess.

Edit again: Actually I think 3 might be the Red Dragon.

After more focused and repeated listening...

I voted #8

I also seem to like 8,9 and 10 the best....but I'm into that kind of sound.

Here are my guesses

#1) no idea
#2) FEA
#3) Darkglass
#4) one of the SFX
#5) one of the SFX
#5) BB or DD
#7) Darkglass
#8) BB or DD
#9) DD
#10) BB

1: I actually like this one. Has a fatness to it.
2: I second the wet blanket comment but it's on this track. Sure there is some agression there but the sound is weak IMO
3: Might as well be clean
4: Picks up where #2 left off. It is a little buzzy up top, but I don't mind it.
5: Sounds good. Seems like there is clean blend. Nice singing top end maybe not grity enough.
6: Sounds good too but maybe a little better than 5,...same top end with just the right amount of grit
7: Weak,...not enough low end. Maybe too mid happy.
8: I'm not over nor underwhelmed by this. Average.
9: Average.
10: Meh on this one. The OD has a chorus like sound to it.

It seems like a lot of these have a clean blend.
