A Dorian exercise (fast & slow)

As a warm up the exercise is good...BUT... only if played slowly. The idea of a warm up is to SLOWLY introduce the fingers/hands to the upcoming "work" expected of them.

I don't quite agree, but thats okay, i feel building it up to a faster tempo and then back down is a great warm-up, kind of like a pyramid in bpm, but each to their own! everyone has things that work for them, this is what works well for me and i'm sure a few other people! :-)
