I'm taking the bass to Lisa Gass this weekend so she can re-do my neck. Lisa was my first choice all along, but, she was on vacation when I needed a crack repair done - that led to the full setup at the other Luthier.
Final note on my mediocre setup: the repaired crack is not smooth to the touch. It was only a 1" hairline crack on the lower side. They didn't get a smooth fit. Is that normal or bad repair??
