Joined this Forum last month, but I have not had a chance to really begin to use it yet. I am a progressing ukulele player and builder (2+) years and have just purchased a "U-Bass" (aka mini-bass, short scale bass, etc.) to begin to learn how to play it while both designing and building my own. I would enjoy corresponding with anyone who is familiar with the short-scale mini basses and especially their polyurethane, "rubber-band" like strings.
