Hello fellow pluckers, slappers and poppers. This forum looks great. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all!

I've been playing for a while but I lost enthusiasm a while back and stopped practising. Some 10 years later, I've just picked up my first ever Fender P bass and I've fallen in love with it. I can't believe it took me so long to find one that suited me so well.

After my big revelation, I'm back to playing bass more-or-less daily and enjoying it more than ever. I'm looking forward to learning from the community and getting involved.

"...a TONNE of additional new gear." I got a good chuckle from the fact that Charlie was kind enough to use the proper spelling of ton, given the circumstances. Now that's humour... I'll go home now. He wasn't kidding though, and you'll become acutely familiar with GAS.
