sounds like you made a very wise move by bailing on this wack outfit. I'd have done the same thing.

actually, in a way I did once. in my last group (spring/summer 1996) one of the _many_ things they lied or exaggerated about in order to get me into their group was that we'd be adding material to the set list every week or so. when a three month period went by without little or no "new" tunes being added to the set list (even after several instances of me bringing in very suitable material that I knew the band could have kicked serious ass on live), I started to get rather disgusted. _then_ the lead singer turned around and made the infamous "let's put a skynyrd song in the set list even though no one in the band likes southern rock" suggest (another broken promise because it wasn't supposed to be a "same old bar band crap" set list) that drove me further out the door.
