A long overdue hi!

Hi there from the UK!

Been a member for a while but only just plucked up the courage to contribute. This looks an amazing forum full of like minded folks!

Been playing bass for about a year now using my lovely Toby Deluxe IV and have been receiving lessons from an amazing local bass tutor.

Still have a lot to learn about it all, especially gear as I am mainly playing on my own, I'm looking forward to spending a long time on here learning.

Glad to be a part of this amazing community!

Very nice! The only other bass I own is an ESP ltd active 5 string. Actually started playing around 2 years ago but only 1 year seriously with my tutor and good practice. I found the 5 string a little difficult to start with, I have a list of basses I want someday when I'm rich ha!

Welcome. I've been playing the bass for a long time but a member of TB for a short time. Wonderful group of folks here. Very helpful. Very small percentage of folks looking to spoil a good time compared to other forums I'm in. Tons of enjoyable threads. Enjoy!

Thanks all for the warm welcome. I always used to avoid posting in forums like this due to my lack of knowledge. I guess you won't learn much unless you get involved with like minded passionate people. Looking forward to taking my love for bass to new levels here!
