A low pass filter/blender?

From what i have gathered a pedal that did both of these would be ideal for any guitar pedal that stole low end.

A pedal that let you blend in a low pass filter of your clean signal with a loop would be perfect right?

Well it depends on what you want. Personally I'd just want a blender for pedals that stole low end. Turn the gain on the offending pedal a bit above unity and then blend in clean signal.

The problem I'd see with a lowpassed clean blend is that you'd JUST be getting deep lows and therefore might end up with a blended signal with frequency holes. But that's just my first thought.

I also dislike having my full spectrum clean tone mixed in with a dirty tone, but I prefer to just crossover my signal, keeping the lows (250 Hz and below) clean and effecting the rest. Of course, I also feel that low frequencies, when fed into most gain pedals, sound like ass and ruin the clarity.

well i am gonna make something like that. I am gonna make a thread about a blend loop with a tone know on the clean blend. It should serve the same purpose and should be easy to do.

I decided ill just talk about it here.

I am gonna make a blend pedal with a tone knob for the clean mix. I think it would be cool. Kind of like a way adjust the kind of clean you want mixed in.

Would this simple tone section work ok?
